Botswana squash star improves world ranking

Botswana squash star Alister Walker's world ranking rose from the 28th to the 21st, according to the latest list released by Professional Squash Association (PSA) on Monday.

Walker, who won the PSA International 35 Grasshopper Cup in Switzerland last year, now is the 10th highest ranked African player in the world rankings and the second highest Southern African player behind South African Stephen Coppinger.

The Motswana player is participating in the Tournament of Champions held in New York City.

Walker had ever reached a career-high ranking of No. 12 in 2009. Endit
