Dollar trades in mid-117 yen range in early Tokyo deals

The U.S. dollar traded in the mid- 117 yen range early Monday in Tokyo deals, slightly lower from its overnight levels in New York.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 117.54-56 yen compared with 117.62-72 yen in New York and 116.54-55 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Friday.

The euro fetched 1.1562-1563 dollars and 135.92-93 yen against 1.1564-1574 dollars and 135.77-87 yen in New York and 1.1631-1633 dollars and 135.55-59 yen in Tokyo late Friday afternoon. Endi
