Xinhua, January 14, 2015 Adjust font size:

A bomb threat in a local tax authority building here on Wednesday led to its evacuation, according to local television reports.

The bomb threat came through a direct phone call to the tax authority and the police were called in at 10:40 a.m. local time (1040 GMT), the reports said.

The local tax authority building is in the Parque das Nacoes area in north Lisbon and is opposite the legal campus where many of the city's courts are located.

The police searched the building but found no signs of explosives. The staff were later allowed back in the building. Endit
