Xinhua, January 13, 2015 Adjust font size:

South Korea led 1-0 against Kuwait in the first half of Asian Cup's second round in the group stage on Tuesday.

South Korea grabbed the chance to score in the 36th minute as Cha Du-Ri ran down along the side line to kick the ball into box area and Nan Tae-Hee followed up to head the ball into net, earning South Korea the 1-0 advantage.

South Korea nearly socred in the 30th minute. Lee Keun-Ho burst into the pennalty area, but his flip shot was denied by Kuwait's goalkeeper Hameed Youssef.

For the sake of injury and fatigue, seven South Korean players were replaced from the group's first game in starting line-up. Endi
