Chinese FM to visit Sudan for brokering peace in South Sudan

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi will visit Sudan on Monday, a Foreign Ministry spokesman said on Sunday.

Wang will have a consultation with the Inter-Governmental Authority for Development (IGAD), and the conflicting parties of South Sudan in Khartoum, the capital of Sudan, spokesman Hong Lei said.

They will discuss how to support and coordinate with the IGAD to promote reconciliation and realize peace and stability in South Sudan, Hong said. Endi
