Chinese men's and women' s teams reach ITTF team World Cup finals

Both the men's and women's teams from China were victorious in the semi-finals over Chinese Taipei and Singapore at the ITTF team World Cup here on Saturday.

The Chinese women's team comprising Ding Ning, Liu Shiwen, and Zhu Yuling won against Singapore with a clear 3-0 victory and will meet DPR Korea in the finals on Sunday.

Ding Ning scored an easy 3-0 victory against Li Isabelle Siyun in the singles match and then teamed up with her teammate Liu Shiwen in the doubles. The DPR korean team won over Japan 3-0.

In the men' s competitions, the Chinese team did not leave a chance to Chinese Taipei, winning 3-0.

China will encounter Austria on Sunday, Jan. 11, in the final. The Austrians entered the final after beating Portugal 3-0.

A total of 12 women' s and 12 men' s teams entered into the tournament at Dubai' s Al-Nasr Sports Club. Endi
