Xinhua, January 10, 2015 Adjust font size:

A French student was injured after falling off the dormitory building in south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, said local sources on Saturday.

The 31-year-old student, whose name was not given so as to protect his privacy, was found lying on the ground near a dormitory building for overseas students in the Guangxi University on Friday evening.

He was sent immediately to a local hospital. A doctor described his condition on Saturday morning as "improving, but not out of danger".

The student is of French nationality, but his parents are from Guangxi. He had been studying Chinese language at the School of International Education. Police are investigating the cause of his fall. Endi
