Cherif Kouachi, one of the two Kouachi brothers, suspects of Charlie Hebdo attack, declared to BFMTV Friday morning he was sent by Al-Qaeda Yemen, while told BFMTV that he belonged to Islamic State (IS).

UNITED NATIONS -- China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan, the six members of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), proposed an updated draft of International Code of Conduct for Information Security to the United Nations Friday.
The permanent members of the six states to the UN, in a jointly signed letter to the UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, asked him to circulate the updated version of the rules as a formal document of the 69th session of the UN General Assembly. (UN-Cyber Security)

BERLIN -- The foreign ministers of Germany, France, Russia and Ukraine will meet in Berlin on Monday to discuss the Ukraine conflict, said German Foreign Ministry on Friday.
The ministers held on Friday a telephone conference over the situation in Ukraine and agreed to see each other on Monday to continue their efforts at resolving the crisis, according to the statement. (Berlin-Ukraine)

GENEVA -- The U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry will hold talks here with his Iranian counterpart Mohammad-Javad Zarif next week over Tehran's disputed nuclear program.
According to a latest announcement released by U.S. Department of State, Kerry will travel to Geneva to meet with Iranian Foreign Minister Zarif on Jan. 14 "to have a bilateral meeting to provide guidance to their negotiating teams before their next round of discussions, which begin on Jan. 15." ISLAMABAD -- At least eight people were killed and 20 others injured when a suicide bomber blew up himself outside a religious center of Shia Muslims in Pakistan's garrison city of Rawalpindi on Friday, local media and officials said.
District Coordination Officer of Rawalpindi Sajid Zafar said that the suicide bomber reached on a motorbike and exploded his jacket near the main gate of the religious center after seeing the on-duty policemen. (Pakistan-Suicide Attack) Endi
