Malaysia's Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak on Thursday condemned the attack on French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo in Paris that left 12 people dead.

Najib said in his Twitter account "Malaysia condemns in the strongest terms all acts of violence. We stand in unity with the French people."

In a statement on Thursday, Malaysia's Foreign Ministry said, " the government of Malaysia strongly condemns the attack on the French satirical newspaper Charlie Hebdo on Jan 7."

"Nothing justifies taking innocent lives. Malaysia is united with the families of the victims, the government of France, and the French people," it said. Endi
