Philippines blasts Paris killings

Xinhua, January 8, 2015 Adjust font size:

The Philippine government Thursday condemned Wednesday's deadly attack in a magazine publication in France.

"We are appalled by the senseless attacks that took 12 innocent lives and wounded several others in Paris. We join the French nation and the rest of the world in denouncing this blatant disregard for human lives and the fundamental right of expression, " the Department of Foreign Affairs said.

The Philippines government also expressed its condolence and sympathy to the families of the victims as they mourn the loss of their loved ones and begin their quest for justice.

Armed men attacked the offices of the French satirical magazine on Wednesday, killing 12 people including its editor and several cartoonists. Endi
