China's prototype stealth fighter, the J-20, was reported to have made its first test flight Tuesday, according to a report by Huanqiu.com.

The report quoted Chinese aviation fans that the J-20 made a 15-minute flight from 12:50 to 13:05 in southwest China's Chengdu City.

Photos claimed to be taken during the plane's test flight have been posted on unofficial Chinese military websites.

Clear photos of the J-20 were released two weeks ago, followed by videos of the stealth fighter in high-speed taxi made by aviation fans.
