China confirmed 31 new A/H1N1 flu cases on Friday, bringing the total on the mainland to 328 with no fatalities.

Southern economic powerhouse Guangdong Province reported 10 new cases while the capital Beijing confirmed nine from 6:00 PM Thursday to 6:00 PM Friday, the Ministry of Health said in a statement.

Financial hub Shanghai reported five new cases. Zhejiang and Hubei each reported two, while Fujian, Tianjin and Chongqing each reported one.

Of all patients, 160 have recovered and been discharged from hospitals, according to the statement.
