The first Tibet Museum of Natural Science will be built this September, sources from TAR Science and Technology Department on January 8.

Tibet Museum of Natural Science is one of the 180 key construction projects of "the 11th Five-Year plan" with 70 billion yuan investment from the government. Among the 180 key projects, 170 are under constructions and 76 have been completed.

Ma Shengjie, director of TAR Science and Technology Department, said two sets of programs on the musuem construction have passed the assessment from the National Development and Reform Commission and the related research work is on the way.
