China to Launch Natural Disaster Monitoring Satellites

China plans to launch two satellites for monitoring ecological environment and natural disasters on Friday from the country's north Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center, sources from the center said on Wednesday.

The satellites under the name "Environment 1" will be sent into orbit by a Long March 2C carrier.
