A Tibetan Teacher and His Temporary Tent Classroom

Gelhaigyu Gyaco has been a teacher with Zhamang primary school, located on a plateau with an elevation of 4,300 meters, for twelve years. He was called "Gaga" from Tibetan language meaning dearest by his students for his kindness and responsibility. After the quake hit Yushu on April 14, Gelhaigyu Gyaco insisted giving lessons for students at the temporary tent classroom. "Schooling is not easy for children here.
