After the tsunami, the sea became a nightmare for Heshani and her family. Many people lost their life during the 2004 Indonesia tsunami, including a friend of her sisiter Dimalka. Soon after the tragedy, Heshani and Dimalka returned to school. Teachers provided them a great help, giving them books and stationery, comforting them away from the nightmare. The calamity made Heshani understand what is to love and be loved and she became grateful and came to know how to repay through her poems, intense study in the school and help to others in need. Heshani wishes to become a banker in the future to help eliminating poverty and Dimalka a doctor to help those in need. [Xinhua]
