Jordan Hartman, an 11-year-old pupil of five grade at Penleigh and Essendon Grammar School in Melbourne. He and his younger sister live with parents in a two-floor house on Shaw Road in east Melbourne.
Hartman is an outgoing boy and goes well with classmates, his teacher also gives him high evaluations. He is not only doing well in study but also has a good few hobbies, for example, he is used to play balls with buddies after school, or study astronomy and Chinese chess in leisures.
But one thing he is devoted to with full energy is to protect environment around himself, becaue he loves and cares about the Earth, our living planet which is in big trouble of environmental damages.
When at home, Hartman cares about skills in energy or water savings and puts them into practice. He is good at changing daily rubbish into manure to fertilize plants and flowers in the backyard. Hartman is also active in environmental protection at school, like planting trees or takes part in other similar activities.
Nowadays, Hartman's father, Dallas Hartman, is moved by son's actions, and also joins the line of environmentalists to build an environmental-friendly society. [Xinhua]
