In the year of 2005, Iris Alvarez made history by becoming both the first girl and the youngest diver to take part in a 70-year-old tradition diving from the 18-meter cliff in Acapulco.
This brave achievement led her to the recognition in the 2007 Guinness Book of Records. Now Iris Alvares has been quite a celebrity in Acapulco. [Xinhua]
