In a fairy tale, a pretty girl indulges in dance with her red shoes so that her shoes grows together with her feet. The 10-year-old girl Liang Yuxin likes dancing as much as the girl in the fairy tale.Liang's parents are farmers in Heilongjiang Province. Like children of most migrant workers, she was brought from the farm of her hometown to Harbin by her grandfather to get better education when she was 4. Liang has nice dance genius, which was discovered by her teacher Meng Jia. "She has long legs, flexible waist and long neck." Meng said. Liang joined the dance class of the kindergarten with Meng's suggestion. Though suffering a lot during the training, Liang never gave it up. "When I pressed my legs for the first time, I felt great pain on the following day. But I told myself that I must insist on because the endeavor I've made would mean nothing if I give up." Little Yuxin had failed to enter Heilongjiang Red-Crowned Crane Art Troupe, which is famous in Harbin, because she disqualified from legs' split in the exam in 2004. Back from the exam, She asked her grandmother to press her body for split training for 20 days. She entered the art troupe with great backbone at last. Now dancing has been a big part of the family's daily life. The little girl presses her legs in her 30 square meters house everyday. She was awarded "Country's Star of the Children" in the dance competition of 2006 Chinese Teenagers Acqierement TV Show. Moreover, she won the performance award in the International Children's Art Festival held in Russia in 2008."My dream is to be an actress who can dance. I hope to give my family a better life in the future." Liang said. [Xinhua]
