Happy Life in China's 1st Hope Primary School

China's first Hope Primary School, the Jinzhai County's Hope Primary School, which is symbolic of the formal inception of China's Project Hope aimed at helping dropouts return to schools, was set up in Nanxi Town, Jinzhai County, east China's Anhui Province on May 19, 1990. As the very first beneficiary of Project Hope, the largest charitable organization for education, the Jinzhai Primary School has gained extensive support and substantial helps from all walks of life in the society during its past 19 years, and its teaching ambience and peripheral equipments have been remarkably improved. The Hope Primary School now covers some 14,200 square meters, boasts 21 classes consisting of 53 teachers and 1,410 students. [Xinhua]
