Chinese Legislators Meet to Discuss Draft Laws for Food Safety, State Assets

Chinese legislators met on Thursday to discuss the drafts of the state-owned assets law and the food safety law.

They will also discuss the draft amendments to the fire prevention law, state compensation law and law on precaution against earthquake and disaster reduction at the Fifth Session of the 11th National People's Congress Standing Committee, which opened in Beijing on Thursday.
