China to Shape 10 World-class Brands in Five Years

China has decided to shape 10 world-class brands that have independent intellectual property rights, stronger international competitiveness, higher brand recognition and a share in the international market.

The 10 brands will come from industries such as the: light industry, textile, machinery and power-generating equipment, information, petrochemical, aerospace, aviation, shipping and materials etc.

As well as this, China will foster 100 Chinese autonomous brands to advance to world-class brands, according to "Advice on Further Acceleration of the Implementation of the Famous Brand Strategy", recently issued by State Industry and Commerce Administration.
