Experts Discuss New TV and Broadcasting Technologies

China Radio, Film and TV, a technology bimonthly journal, organized a forum on new television and broadcasting technologies and development of media industry in Beijing Thursday.

Liu Xiliang, vice president of the China Association of Radio and Television, said at the forum that many new technologies have already been introduced into TV programming, broadcasting, data receiving and multi-media.

With those new advanced technologies, Liu said, players in the industry need to speed up commercialization of the technologies.

More than 200 governmental officials, experts, scholars and companies representatives participated in the forum.
