Tibet to Develop Tourism Business

A China's Tibetan regional official says the general planning of tourism promotion in the region from 2005 to 2020 has been submitted for approval.

The 15-year long plan aims to boost tourism, while do more to attract overseas tourists to make China's Tibet the world's most famous highland tourist destination.

In recent years, tourism has developed into a core industry in China's Tibet, with more than one million visits last year.
