China's Red Cross Sends Quake Relief
The Red Cross Society of China has donated relief materials worth 300,000 yuan, or about US$36,000 to help earthquake victims in the Ludian County in southwest China's Yunnan Province.

An earthquake measuring 5.6 on the Richter scale hit Ludian County on Tuesday, killing three people and injuring nearly 600.

The donated materials include 100 tents and 3,000 pieces of clothes and quilts.
