Nuclear Technology Annual Value Hits 15 Billion Yuan
China has expanded its peaceful application of nuclear technology into wider areas such as industry, agriculture, and medicine, which produced annual income of 15 billion yuan or about 1.8 billion US dollars last year.

The State Atom Energy Agency says the country has 300 enterprises engaged in manufaturing and developing nuclear technology-related products.

The agency says in the future, China will focus on developing energy-saving technologies, environmental protection and development of life-science programs so as to fully optimize the technology.
