China to Hold Healthy Living Exhibition in 2009 in Shanghai

China will hold its first International Healthy Lifestyle Expo from April 18 to 20, 2009 in the Shanghai International Exhibition Center, the Ministry of Health said on Monday.

The sponsors will be the Ministry of Health, the China Association for Science and Technology and the Shanghai municipal government.

"It's a government-oriented, health-themed expo for the public good," Wang Longde, chief of the expo's executive board, told a press conference. Wang is also the director of the Chinese Preventive Medicine Association.
