Hong Kong Center for Health Protection on Tuesday received six reports of influenza-like illness outbreaks involving 27 students from one secondary school, three primary schools and two kindergartens, a government press release said.

According to the press release from the Information Services Department of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) government, these reports involved 16 boys and 11 girls aged 2 to 14. None have been hospitalized or had influenza confirmed.

The center's staff have visited the institutions and provided health advice, the press release said.
