China Provides Emergency Aids to Palestinians

China signed an agreement with Palestinian National Authorities (PNA) in the West Bank City of Ramallah on Saturday, granting US$500,000 emergency humanitarian aids to the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.

After signing the agreement with the Secretary General of the Palestinian Presidency Tayeb Abdel Rahim, Yang Weiguo, head of the Office of the People's Republic of China in the Palestinian territories, said China has been long supporting the Palestinian people's just cause, and will continue to provide aids in the future.

Appreciating China's long-term support and assistance to the Palestinian people, Abdel Rahim, for his part, highly praised the friendship between China and the Palestinians.

International communities, including China, have offered assistance to the Palestinians in various forms to help improve the Palestinians' economic situation and social development.
