Every Sunday is bazaar day in Kashgar of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. Although the July 5th violence in Urumqi had an impact on business in Xinjiang, the Kashgar bazaar is prospering.

A Xinjiang businessman said, "When the business is good, I'm as busy as a bee because there are too many people. After the Urumqi riot was quelled, our business will turn normal."
