President of the Republic of Korea Lee Myung-bak arrived in Shanghai early Friday to attend the opening ceremony of the Shanghai World Expo to be held later in the evening.

The Shanghai World Expo will last six months. It will be the largest world exhibition ever and is expected to attract 70 million visitors from home and abroad.
