With the A/H1N1 flu virus spreading fast, flu prevention goods are all the rage these days. At this year's Canton Fair, masks and liquid sterilizing soap are the hot sellers.

An Indian businessman placed an order for 500 thousands units of liquid soap. One fair participant says the factory has been working 24 hours a day to manufacture masks to meet market demand.

In Urumqi, capital of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, thermometers are in short supply in a chain pharmacy. Sales volumes among all kinds of anti-virus drugs or anti-flu drugs have risen in recent days. The local department of price supervision is working to prevent individual drug stores from arbitrarily raising prices.
