Hong Kong's Department of Health said there have been 62 newly confirmed cases of influenza A/H1N1 in the past 24 hours up to 2:30 PM on Tuesday.

The new cases involve 28 males and 34 females, aged between 22 months and 58 years, said the department.

This brings the total number of confirmed cases in Hong Kong to 1,389.
