Hong Kong's Department of Health said that there had been 62 newly confirmed cases of influenza A/ H1N1 in the 24 hours leading up to 2:30 PM on Monday.

The new cases involve 27 males and 35 females aged from one to 59 years old, said the department.

This brings to 1,327 the total number of confirmed cases in Hong Kong.
