Macao reported two more confirmed cases of A/H1N1 influenza on Tuesday, bringing the total number of such cases to 62 so far.

The two newly confirmed cases were locally infected and imported respectively, according to Macao's Health Bureau. The locally-infected case involved a 39-year-old Philippine who is a missionary and has acquired residency in Macao, while the other patient is a 34-year-old Indonesian woman who tested positive for the virus after arriving in Macao.

By far, 16 of Macao's 62 confirmed cases of A/H1N1 influenza were locally infected, and 25 patients were still receiving medical treatments at a government-run hospital, according to the statistics from the bureau.

The bureau also said that it has decided to reduce the days of patients receiving medical treatments at their own residences from seven days to five days, and patients who are less infectious will be allowed to receive their treatments at their houses.
