Finland has confirmed more cases of A/H1N1 flu over the weekend, bringing the total number of the cases from 43 to more than 60, the Finnish National Institute of Health and Welfare said on Monday.

Since the majority of the patients were infected during international trips, the institute recommended all travelers from Mexico, the United States, Canada, Argentina, Chile, Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, the Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore and Britain to undergo a week of self-observation.

Those exposed to the risk of A/H1N1 flu infection are now allowed to acquire the anti-viral drug Tamiflu, according to the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health.

The groups under threat include those traveling to areas with reported outbreaks of A/H1N1 flu, seniors over the age of 65, children under three, pregnant women, and people considered at risk of catching the seasonal influenza.
