Singapore on Sunday confirmed 52 new cases of Influenza A/H1N1, bringing the total number of such cases to 1,055 in the city state.

According to a statement issued by Singapore's Ministry of Health on Sunday, of the cumulative number of 1,003 cases investigated so far, 591 were local cases and 412 were imported ones.

Singapore reported its first confirmed case of Influenza A/H1N1on May 27.
