A spokesman for the Department of Health of Hong Kong said that 59 newly confirmed cases of influenza A/H1N1 were reported in the 24 hours to 2:30 PM on Tuesday.

This brings to 785 the total number of Influenza A/H1N1 cases in Hong Kong.

The new cases involve 37 males and 22 females, aged between 27 months and 56 years.

Meanwhile, the spokesman said that operating hours of the department's hotline for Influenza A/H1N1 would be adjusted starting on July 1. It will operate daily from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM instead of 24 hours a day.
