Macao's A/H1N1 Confirmed Cases Rise to 16

Macao reported one more confirmed case of influenza A/H1N1 on Saturday, bringing the total number of such cases to 16.
The newly confirmed case was imported, concerning a 24-year-oldChinese mainland resident who arrived in Macao on June 5 and traveled to Philippine between June 21 and 22, according to Macao's Health Bureau. He showed flu symptoms after returning to Macao on June 23.
The Bureau said that the patient's health condition remained stable as he received medical treatments in a local hospital. The patient's roommate has already been quarantined.
So far, all but one of Macao's 16 confirmed cases were imported, five of which have recovered and left the hospital, according to the Bureau. Another 31 persons who had close contact with the patients were quarantined in local health facilities and their residences.
