HK Confirms 28 New Cases of Influenza A/H1N1

A spokesman for Hong Kong Department of Health (DH) said there were 28 newly confirmed cases of influenza A/H1N1 in the 24 hours up to 2:30 PM (0630 GMT) on Monday.
This brings to 348 the total number of influenza A/H1N1 cases in Hong Kong, said the spokesman.
The new cases involved 21 males and seven females, aged between nine and 53.
Meanwhile, Po Leung Kuk Celine Ho Yam Tong College in Wong Tai Sin has been advised to suspend classes for 14 days in relation to a 16-year-old Form Two male student who was confirmed to have been infected with influenza A/H1N1 on Monday.
Investigations into the cases are ongoing.
The spokesman called on parents to pay attention to the health condition of their children, and to remind them to observe good personal and environmental hygiene.
