New Flu Infection Cases in Japan Reach 396

The total number of A/H1N1 infections in Japan rose to 396 on Wednesday after a few latest cases were reported.

The Shizuoka prefectural government on Wednesday announced that a man in his 20s, who was staying at a training facility in Shizuoka Prefecture, was confirmed to be infected with the influenza.

The Chiba prefectural government and the Kobe municipal government also confirmed additional cases of infection.

In western Japan's Kobe, classes resumed Wednesday at Kobe Gakuin University High School, which was the last school to remain closed due to new influenza infections.
