Honduras confirmed the second case of A/H1N1 flu in the country, a government official said on Thursday.
"We have received the report from the Control Center for Diseases from Atlanta, United States, confirming us a second case," Honduran Health Minister Carlos Aguilar told local media.
The male patient, who is in a stable condition, arrived here 15 days ago from Florida, Aguilar said.
Honduras has tightened border control to avoid the entrance of infected people.
The authorities have more than 20,000 doses of anti-viral drugs and major cities have received bio-security equipment.
Honduran President Manuel Zelaya on May 21 confirmed that a nine-year-old girl was infected with the virus, the first case of the country, who has recovered after receiving medical treatment.
