Buenos Aires province's health authorities on Thursday reported seven new cases of A/H1N1 flu, bringing the total number of the infected to 44 in the country.
The new cases include five minors, Buenos Aires' health department said.
Due to the increase in flu cases, a school, a kindergarten and four other educational institutions were closed on Thursday as a preventive measure.
Buenos Aires province's health director Claudio Zin said these patients and the people who had close contact with them have been receiving treatment since they were considered suspected cases.
Once a patient is considered a possible case of the A/H1N1 flu, the patient will receive anti-viral treatment, Zin said.
