Suspected Cases of A/H1N1 Flu in Brazil Reach 37

Brazil's Health Ministry on Wednesday announced five new suspected cases of A/H1N1 flu, raising the number of suspected cases to 37 in the country.
According to the ministry, the following states have reported suspected cases: Sao Paulo (14), Minas Gerais (7), Federal District (4), Pernambuco (3), Rio de Janeiro (3), Alagoas (2), and one each in the states of Ceara, Para, Rio Grande do Sul and Rondonia.
The number of confirmed cases in Brazil remained at eight: three in Rio, two in Sao Paulo, and one each in the states of Minas Gerais, Rio Grande do Sul and Santa Catarina.
Two patients caught the flu virus in Brazil, while the other six were infected during international trips.
Currently 33 countries have officially reported 5,728 cases of A/H1N1 influenza, including 61 deaths in Mexico, the United States, Canada and Costa Rica.
