The Department of Health of Britain confirmed three new A/H1N1 flu cases on Tuesday, bringing the total now in the country to 68.
A statement from the Department of Health said the three new cases were two children and one adult from the London area, and all were close contacts of previously confirmed cases.
"So far, all infections in the UK have been mild, and cases have been diagnosed and treated early. This reduces the severity of symptoms, and helps to limit the spread," said the statement, adding "it is right to prepare for the possibility of a global pandemic."
