A total of 403 human A/H1N1 cases have been confirmed in 38 US states, the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported on Tuesday.

The only person that has so far died of the H1N1 flu virus in the United States is a Mexican toddler who was visiting relatives in Texas.
