Total of Confirmed A/H1N1 Flu Cases in Canada Rises to 115

The total of Canada's confirmed A/H1N1 flu cases has risen to 115, with 14 new cases added on Monday, health officials said.
The new cases include a serious one in Alberta that required the patient to be hospitalized. This has been Canada's first severe case that requires hospitalization.
Andre Corriveau, the province's chief medical officer of health, said the girl "is doing well under care." He did not disclose the girl's age or the specifics of her symptoms.
The girl and her family did not go to Mexico recently. Authorities are probing where she could get the illness.
Meanwhile, Nova Scotia added five cases for a total of 38, the highest in Canada.
Prince Edward Island confirmed its first group of two cases, and New Brunswick added one more case for a total of two.
