WHO: 898 A/H1N1 Cases Confirmed

The latest World Health Organization figures show that the A/H1N1 influenza has appeared in 18 countries and regions across the world, with 898 confirmed cases. Mexico is the worst affected country.
The WHO has already confirmed that 19 people have died in Mexico of the flu virus, with 506 others infected. Next comes the US, with one confirmed death and 226 people infected. Canada has 85 confirmed cases. Spain has 40 cases, Britain has 15, Germany has eight.
Meanwhile, the Mexican government has raised the death toll of the A/H1N1 flu to 22 and the number of infected cases to 568 in the country. The Canadian government has also added 16 new confirmed cases, bringing the total to 101.
