Australia Postpones Disease Conference Due to Influenza A/H1N1

Australia Department of Health and Ageing said on Monday that the national conference on communicable diseases was postponed because of the influenza A/H1N1 outbreak overseas.
The majority of presenters and participants have been involved in the Australian response to the disease and were unable to attend, a spokesman for the Department of Health and Ageing said.
The 2009 Communicable Diseases Control Conference was due to start in Canberra on Monday.
The conference will be held at a date to be determined.
According to data released by Australian Department of Health and Ageing on Saturday, there were 121 Australians being tested for swine flu, with no confirmed cases at this stage.
