According to data released by the Australian Department of Health and Ageing on Saturday, there were 121 Australians being tested for influenza A/H1N1, but with no confirmed cases at this stage.
The highest number of suspected cases was in New South Wales, where 77 people have been tested, the Department of Health and Ageing said.
So far no one has tested positive inside Australia for the flu, with tests generally taking a few days to provide results, the Department of Health and Ageing said.
However, the Australian Associated Press reported earlier Saturday that a second Australian has tested positive for the potentially deadly virus in London.
The World Health Organization (WHO) warned last week that an outbreak of A/H1N1 flu in Mexico has spread to other countries.
